Velvet Jam is a Japanese street fashion brand that specializes in producing unique and unconventional clothing and accessories. In 2011, Velvet Jam collaborated with the shoe brand Converse to release a limited edition line of "Reconstructed Converse" shoes.

The Velvet Jam 2011 Reconstructed Converse were created by taking vintage Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars and deconstructing them, then adding various design elements such as zippers, studs, and patches. Each pair of shoes was handmade and unique, with no two pairs being exactly the same.

The shoes were available in a variety of colors and designs, ranging from simple and understated to bold and flashy. They were designed to appeal to fans of both street fashion and vintage style, and were sold exclusively through Velvet Jam stores and select retailers.
